I've been thrifting since I was little, dragging through racks with my mom who taught me everything about finding something real in a sea of nothing. Then it was with friends, weekends lost in dusty shops around New Orleans. Now it's mostly me and Tom — my boyfriend and partner in crime — hunting through the best spots the city has to offer. Thrifting is therapy for me. Seriously. There's something about the hunt — the patience, the surprise, the feeling when you find the one — that quiets everything else down. I started Psycle Back because I wanted more people to feel that. I'm not a reseller. I'm a finder. There's a difference — resellers flip. Finders fall in love, hold on for a while, and eventually pass it on to whoever loves it next. Currently obsessing over: anything dark and draped, leather that looks like it survived something, band tees from bands that actually mattered, and that perfect intersection where goth meets 80s metal and neither one blinks.
